I’m going to restate something that I’ve said before; when I first started Herbalife I was highly critical of the product. In fact, I thought most of the claims were pure marketing. However, over the course of my own personal weight loss and experimentation with the products I have to say that I’ve turned that cynicism around. One of the products that helped turn my attitude around is the next up in my series of Herbalife Reviews; Total Control.
What is Total Control?
Herbalife describes Total Control as the following:
…an innovative natural dietary supplement designed to support the weight-loss process. Total Control® tablets contain a blend of herbs and nutrients that help boost metabolism and build energy and alertness.*
In layman terms that means that it is a supplement that is designed to give you an extra “boost” throughout the day through the use of tea extracts (Black Tea, Oolong Tea, and Green Tea), ginger, pomegranate rind, and a small amount of caffeine. (If you are caffeine sensitive, you may want to avoid this product.) Although it doesn’t claim to do so, I have also found that it also helps in controlling my hunger. I will also state that while it does a decent job of controlling my appetite it is not a “cure-all”; so it won’t prevent hunger if you skip a meal. However, I do find that it curbs my tendency to snack quite a bit.
How do You use Total Control?
Total control comes in a bottle containing 90 Tablets. The recommended usage is that you utilize it 3 times-a-day, which is what I do as well. I personally take one in the morning with my other supplements and morning tea; then a second before lunch with my afternoon tea; and finally a third between 4:00-5:00 PM with a snack. I find that following this regimen seems to maximize its utility for me.
Why make this a Part of Herbalife Reviews?
Well, as I stated before this when I first took this supplement I was skeptical about how effective it would be, but I decided I should give it a try. Through my own personal experience in using the product I have found it has rapidly become an essential part of my program. I believe that Total Control’s claims of providing a good “pick-me-up” to be quite valid and a much healthier way to take in caffeine compared to my previous routine of drinking one to two liters of pop a day. I couldn’t imagine going without it.
